for my dad

In honor of Father's Day I am going to skip to talking about my dad, David, instead of Chloe (sorry, girl ...you're next).

My dad is the most kind, loving, gentle, smartest and most talented man I know. I am so, so honored to know him and to have the privilege of calling him my father. I cannot express how grateful I am. Having gone nineteen years without a father, and particularly without him, I still somehow cannot fathom life without him. He has taught me so much and helped me to grow so, so much.
He is the best hunter/fisherman there ever was and a true outdoors-man. He is the most talented chef alive, and can come up with the most incredible recipes having never tasted them himself. He has the memory of an elephant (that's a thing, right?) and is the absolute smartest man you will ever have the pleasure of meeting. He has helped so many people and come up with solutions to so many challenges. He has the biggest heart of anyone I have ever known and always does the right thing, even when no one is looking. He is truly a good person.
He has gone through so much, and I cannot tell you how grateful I am to have him here with us.
I wouldn't trade him for anything. I wouldn't mind going 19 more years without a father if it meant I would end up with him as a dad. There is no man in the world that could do a better job at what he has done. I am a better person because of him.
I truly am the luckiest girl alive. I love you so much, thank you for everything.

Family Pt 1

Hey Everyone! This is Gavin with his Alaskan sized Trout. Suh-weet. I caught one too, but it was like half that size. Hah.
So, this is the official first post in the Meet My Family series. And we are, obviously, starting with Gavin. Mainly because I wanted to post this picture. Obviously the series is not going to be in chronological order or anything like that because Gavin's not even close to the oldest.
Ok anyway, Gavin, Gavin, Gavin....wake up!!
Alrighty, seriously now..Gavin is 16, 17 in July (whoaa) and going to be a Junior in HS next year. He's super athletic just naturally (not fair) and somehow always has a six pack even though he doesn't work out. Hmph. He is learning to be a guitar god and well, he's basically good at everything he does. We all went shooting the other day and of course, Gavin was awesomeee. (So was my MOM!!!)
Humm what else?? He loves those crazy shows like "Mounted in Alaska" hehe (which can be pretty good sometimes. I admit.) Oh, and he desperately wants to shoot a wild BOAR!! To be added to the collection.
I want him to too, but I want to eat it. Haha, wouldn't that just be awesome though? "Yeah, I had boar for dinner last night.."
Kay, not that awesome? Whatever.
He has many unofficial nicknames that his sistas like to call him, Gavvy, Gav Gav, Gavster (?)
And then the slightly more official ones made up by the nickname king himself, David (who is, from here on out, going to be referred to as my dad, because even if its not biological, I don't care, he is my dad to me. (More on that later).) Gavmaster, grillmaster (oh yeah, he's gettin pretty good at grilling, hence the name), cameramaster. Haha etc. Basically Gavin's legit at everything.
The end.

little bit of a guilty pleasure.

So. It's true, I'm a freak. Like seriously. I have a problem.
Now what is this freakish problem, you may ask? WeLl. (haha) I'll tell ya. But just beware, its kiind of embarrassing, and just all around weird.
Ok, here we go. I can do this.

I LOVE watching people eat.
Is that weird?
I don't even know why, but I just love making people really fatty foods and then watching them eat. Ok yeah, its weird. I guess I don't always watch them eat it, so that's good, but I don't know what it is. I think its because I'm obsessed with food. And if I'm not gonna eat it, I want other people to. Maybe I'm in love with food and I want to be around it SO much that I feel the need to cook/prepare fatty things for other people all the time.
Gosh, I'm so not normal.
However, if you are extremely underweight, wanna gain some pounds and are looking for a friend to help..I'm your girl.

So yep, there's my freaky/weird/embarrassing confession. I know it could be worse, but its like those creepy people who get off on watching people eat. Only not like that AT ALL.
I AM NOT ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE. I swear. Ew.
Oh hey, maybe I just like watching people enjoy the food I make them? Theeeeere we go. Totes normal.
Oh and by the way, the food is normally nothing like the picture at the top (which I got from google), but I wish I could make that! I just thought it was pretty.
------------
I also wanted to write a family update (especially since anyone reading this, for the most part) knows nothing about them! And they are definitely noteworthy. Buuut this post is getting too long and I don't want to bore anyone, so I will save that for next time. :)
Seee yaaaa.

girl needs help.

Oooh man do I need a job. Online shopping is pure TORTURE right now, but alas I cannot help it. I may have a slight online shopping addiction.
And as for shopping in real life? Yeah, no thanks. NOT being able to buy something is like just the cruelest form of torture.
No, really.

But on a slightly more serious note (or not), what do y'all think about while you run? SERIOUSLY! I am TRYING so hard to become a good runner, but I get sooo bored and my mind goes completely blank except for thinking about what I should think about or thinking about how much longer I have.
Ugh.
So, some advice would be nice.
Gracias!

so maybe i'm only like 11...

Howdy!!
So, it is hot hot hot hot hot outside. Very hot.
Kay, well not that hot, but sitting in a car with no air, waiting for someone for like uhh..4o minutes=hot.

Anyway, I went to Target yesterday and sadly had no money for clothes or accessories, or anything, but I did end up getting something.
Wanna hear?
Drum roll please.......

A HULA HOOP!!! yeeehaw.
So much fun, and I am surprisingly good. If you take away how awkward I look at least.
But yep, I'm a regular old hula hooping goddess.
SO FUN.

hey hey (again)

I LOVE BLOG STALKERS

Kay, just want to say oneee thing. If there is anyone out there who is creepin' on me...feeel freeee to comment!
So you probably don't exist, but who knows!
I creep on people and don't always comment (especially if they don't get many comments to begin with), most of the time I don't even have any idea how I found their blog. So, if by any chance anyone is out there, be a trend starter--comment!!
Hehe.

Just want y'all to know, I will not judge creeps.
Never.
Especially because there probably is no bigger creep than me.
Or my sista, Chloe...
